📚 Introduction
The Machinist Trade is a highly skilled vocational training program under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) that focuses on precision metalworking, machine operation, and manufacturing processes. This two-year course is designed to train students in operating, setting up, and maintaining various machine tools to produce high-accuracy components used in industries like automobile, aerospace, defence, railways, and manufacturing.
Machinists are the backbone of the manufacturing sector, as they create the tools, parts, and equipment essential for industrial production.
